The Longest Range BLE-LoRa Module

M262X840XE is a series of modules integrating a LoRa module with an nRF52840 BLE 5.3 module. LoRa module, LR62XE max. TX power is +29.2 dBm, just below the +30 dBm FCC limit. BT840XE max. TX power is +21 dBm.

Theoretical maximum range between two BT840XEs at 125 kbps is 15 Km or 9 miles. Due to test site limitation, we verify range at 4.5 Km or 2.8 miles.

We have not measured range between LoRa modules. Assuming no receiver gain for SKY65313 PA, the 9 dB additional TX power of LR62XE will provide 2.8 times the range of LR62E at the same data rate and without obstruction.
